The Farnborough International Airshow has released the first “wave” of aircraft confirmed for the event, which will take place between July 22 and 26 in England.

Among the highlights are the Airbus A321XLR, an ultra-long-range single-aisle aircraft, and the Hürjet trainer jet, from Turkish Aerospace, both new to the air show.

In the 2022 edition, the A321XLR was already undergoing a certification test campaign, but Airbus preferred to reserve its public debut for the following year, in Le Bourget, France.

This does not mean that the European planemaker will stop taking more aircraft to Farnborough. The list of confirmations includes an Air India A350-900 and examples of the A220-300, A330-900, A400M and C295, as well as helicopters.

ATR will carry the ATR 72 turboprop in passenger and cargo versions while Qatar Airways will have a Boeing 787-9 and a Gulfstream G700, the first delivered in the world.

Boeing has not yet confirmed which planes will cross the Atlantic, but the 737 MAX 10 and 777-9 are expected to land again in Farnborough.

Another new feature at the air show will be the E190F, a freighter converted by Embraer itself that will make its debut in front of the public.

The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer will once again show the E195-E2, now in Tech Eagle livery, in addition to the C-390 Millennium and the A-29 Super Tucano.

The Diamond Dart 750 training turboprop and the King Air 260C, among others, are also confirmed.

Qatar Airways Gulfstream G700 (Qatar)

Turkish Aerospace has attracted attention with the development of several aircraft, including the 5th generation KAAN fighter, but has preferred to leave it out of the spotlight for now. However, the Gökbey helicopter will also be in England.

In the next few years, the Farnborough organization is expected to add more aircraft to the list.
