As promised, Air France revealed at the Aircraft Interiors Expo, in Hamburg, the new main cabin that will be used in all Embraer E190s from the regional subsidiary HOP!.
The interior redesign of the 110-seat jets will feature new leather-upholstered seats with up to three-inch recline, a 46 cm wide seat, tray table and height-adjustable seat headrest.
Airline passengers will also have more spacious overhead luggage compartments and USB A and C ports to recharge gadgets.

Also according to Air France, business class will have one of its seats blocked from January onwards.
The interior change follows the same solution applied to the Airbus A220 and features 30% lighter assets, which are reflected in greater flight efficiency.
The first E190 with the new cabin is expected to enter service by June.
The Hop! operates a fleet of 21 E190s in addition to 13 E170s with 76 seats and which initially will not undergo internal redesign.
