The airline is expanding flights in Fortaleza, another destination with a large influx of tourists and which will have five weekly flights between October and February 2025.
“We are very happy with this new milestone for Air France in Brazil, which comes shortly after the announcement of our expansion in Fortaleza. The operation in Salvador reflects the company’s commitment and confidence in the Brazilian market, and will allow even more people to visit Bahia and the Northeast, as well as connecting the Bahian community to the entire world”, said Manuel Flahault, general director of Grupo Air France-KLM in South America.
Air France’s A350-900 can carry 324 passengers in three classes of service: Business (34 seats), Premium Economy (24) and Economy (266).
According to the carrier, the Air France-KLM Group, which also includes the Dutch airline’s flights, will return to the level of offer in Brazil before the pandemic, with 44 weekly flights.
