Airbus managed a very strong recovery in deliveries at the end of 2024 and reportedly came close to the target of 770 commercial aircraft delivered.
According to Bloomberg, the European planemaker managed to deliver around 120 aircraft in December, which guaranteed at least 760 commercial jets delivered last year.
If confirmed, the total deliveries in December would have been the highest in recent years, even higher than the same month in 2023, when it delivered 112 aircraft.

Airbus had set a target of delivering 800 commercial aircraft in its 2024 guidance, however, problems with the supply chain prevented it from meeting the schedule.
As of November, the Toulouse-based manufacturer had delivered 643 jets, just 20 more than in 2023 when it ended the year with 735 deliveries.
While the narrowbodies A220 and A320 saw a slight increase in deliveries, its widebodies A330 and A350 were below 2023 levels.
Among the models, the A320neo was down 3.4% and the A350-900 was seven aircraft below 2023.
Airbus is expected to release December deliveries in the coming days.
