Airbus managed to increase the rate of commercial aircraft deliveries, with 84 jets shipped to customers in November.
It was the best performance of the year, which led the planemaker to reach 643 deliveries in 2024, 20 more than last year.
Despite this, the result so far is below expectations, which forces Airbus to deliver 127 aircraft in December to reach its revised guidance (770 aircraft).
It is not, however, an impossible task since the manufacturer managed to deliver 112 aircraft in December 2023.

The outlook saw a good improvement in the A320neo family, which totaled 66 deliveries, two thirds of them of the A321neo (43 jets). The A320neo itself recovered somewhat in performance with 22 aircraft delivered.
he A220 family, produced in North America, continues to show the highest growth of the year, with 14% more deliveries (65 aircraft until November).
Airbus’ widebodies, however, are well below expectations, with eight fewer aircraft than in 2023.
The poor numbers come from the A350-900, which in 11 months had 34 deliveries compared to 41 last year. The A350-1000 is tied with 2023 (nine aircraft) while the A330-900 reached 24 aircraft delivered, one more than in the previous period.
30 orders from undisclosed customers
Airbus also listed three new orders closed last month, but did not reveal which customers they are.
The first of them closed a deal for 10 A321neo, another ordered five A350-900s and a third placed the largest order, for 15 A330-900s.
Up to November, Airbus had 779 gross orders, but after discounting cancellations, it reached 742 net orders.
