Airbus expanded commercial aircraft deliveries in February, with 40 jets sent to customers, 15 more than in January.
However, the planemaker continues to lag behind the numbers for 2024, when in the first two months it had delivered 79 aircraft (14 more).
The result so far shows that the year will be complicated with problems in the supply chain.

Airbus has set a target of delivering 820 aircraft, 54 more than the number achieved last year.
The A320neo family is the most affected by the low deliveries. Only 53 jets have been delivered so far, 12 less than in the same period last year.
While the A321neo had 31 deliveries (-3) and the A319neo, three planes, only 19 A320neo were shipped to customers compared to 31 in 2024.
Airbus also delivered the first A330neos of 2025, with an A330-900 to Delta Air Lines and another to Malaysian Airlines.

With 718 planes pending delivery, the manufacturer only delivered one A350-900 last month, to Air France.
The smallest plane in the family, the A220, had four aircraft of the A220-300 variant delivered, totaling seven in the year, one less than in 2024.
Among the orders, Airbus reported a deal for six A321neos by Korean Air and another eight jets of the type to an undisclosed customer.
Total net orders for 2025 reached 65 commercial aircraft.
