Airbus has unveiled a full-size mock-up of the new A350F freighter, highlighting what it calls the “world’s largest main deck cargo door”.
Images of the mock-up were shared by the company, but without further details such as its location.
The photos highlight, in addition to the side door, an H125 helicopter model positioned as cargo in the main hold and the space for the crew in the front.

The A350F is a response to the growing demand for cargo aircraft with great capacity and range. It also takes advantage of the entry into force of new pollutant emission rules that will compulsorily retire jets such as the Boeing 777F and 767-300F from 2028.
According to Airbus, the A350F will be able to carry up to 111 tons of cargo and fly for 8,700 km.
The manufacturer maintains plans to put the aircraft into service from 2026, although one of its customers, Air France, has revealed that it will only receive the first A350F in 2027.
Bernard de l’Estoile, senior director of marketing for the freighter division, recently said Airbus is waiting for orders for the aircraft from customers in the United States and Asia.
The executive also confided that the growth of the e-commerce market could boost demand for the A350F.
There are currently 55 firm orders for the aircraft from 10 customers.
