The NATO Days air show, held in Ostrava, Czech Republic on September 16th and 17th, featured a line-up of military transport aircraft.

The Boeing C-17 Globemaster, the Airbus A400M Atlas and the Embraer KC-390 Millennium airlifters were at the event, which were positioned close together, allowing a very precise comparison of their size.

All three are operated by countries belonging to the North Atlantic military alliance, although the Brazilian jet is not yet officially in service with the Portuguese Air Force, one of the aircraft’s three European customers.

NATO Days 2023 also saw the participation of several F-35 fighters, including jets from the US Air Force (F-35A) and the Royal Air Force (F-35B).
