All Nippon Airways (ANA) debuted its new Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner in domestic operating configuration on March 27.
The widebody aircraft with 429 seats took over the route between Tokyo (Haneda) and Sapporo (Chitose), lasting just over an hour.
Flight NH59 to Sapporo carried 416 passengers while the return flight to Tokyo had 348 passengers on board, according to Aviation Wire.
Instead of three classes and 294 seats, the 787-10 registration JA981A, received on March 18, has 28 seats in business class and 401 in economy.

ANA expects to have four 787-10s in the high-density configuration in the coming weeks, which will replace its Boeing 777-200s with 405 seats in two classes.
Lighter and more efficient, the Dreamliner should reduce costs for the Japanese carrier, which is the launch customer for the 787 in the world.
Its fleet currently includes 82 Dreamliners, 34 787-8, 43 787-9 and 5 787-10, of which two were received in March with 429 seats.
ANA Holdings has 11 787-10 domestic configurations on order from Boeing.
