Dominican Republic low-cost carrier Arajet will receive five more Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets through leases from BOC Aviation.
The aircraft will be delivered between 2026 and 2027 and will join 10 other 737-8s received between March 2022 and June 2024.
“We are delighted to be extending our relationship with Arajet with this latest transaction, as it develops its fleet and route network,” said Steven Townend, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, BOC Aviation.
“We value our partnership with BOC Aviation as we continue to consolidate our fleet and our footprint in the region,” said Victor Pacheco, Founder and CEO, Arajet.

Flight network to 20 destinations abroad
Arajet emerged from the rebranding of Dominican Wings by partners Victor Pacheco Méndez, current CEO, and Mike Powell, who announced the launch of the carrier in 2021.
The first flights took place in the first half of 2022 and since then Arajet has been flying to several countries in the Americas, including 20 destinations abroad.
Flights depart from Santo Domingo, the country’s capital, but also from the resort of Punta Cana.
