Boeing has won another significant order for 737 MAX jets, this time from Aviation Capital Group (ACG), a US lessor that is a subsidiary of Tokyo Century Corporation.
According to a statement from the group, 35 aircraft of the type will be received by 2031, including 16 737 MAX 8 and 19 737 MAX 10, the variant with up to 230 seats and which is still awaiting certification to enter service.
ACG is one of the largest lessors in the world, managing 364 aircraft, 305 of which are owned.

Before the new order, the company had an order book of 47,737 MAX, 13 of which closed in September 2023.
The agreement has not yet been confirmed by Boeing itself, but it will have a significant impact on its reports as in the first half of the year the planemaker had secured 101 orders for the 737 MAX family.
The announcement of the new order occurred on the same day that one of the 777-9 tests began certification flights with the FAA, the US civil aviation agency.
