Boeing delivered 33 commercial jets in September, with no impact from the strike yet

Since mid-September, about 33,000 employees at the 737, 767 and 777 factories have been on strike for better working conditions. Planemaker registered 65 orders from undisclosed customers

With about 33,000 workers on strike for almost a month in the Puget Sound region, Boeing still managed to deliver 33 commercial aircraft in September.

27 737 MAX, one P-8A, one 767-300F and four 787-10 were sent to its customers. It is worth remembering that Boeing still has dozens of 737s completed during the grounding in stock.

In addition, there are employees who are not part of the union, such as those working at the South Carolina plant.

The numbers from January to September showed a slight improvement compared to the same period in 2023, as six more planes were delivered.

So far, 291 commercial aircraft have been delivered, compared to 371 in 2023, a difference of 80 jets.

The 737 MAX reached 225 aircraft delivered, 55 less than last year. The 787 widebodies total 36 deliveries, compared to 50 in 2023.

The effect of the strike that began on September 13 is expected to be felt in the coming months, as the production schedule is affected by the stoppage.
