Chinese drone manufacturer United Aircraft on October 11 unveiled the Lanying R6000, a massive 6-ton tilt-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle.
The 6-ton aircraft was completed on the United Aircraft assembly line at the Wuhu Aviation Industrial Park in Wanjun District.
According to the company, the Lanying R6000 can carry 2 tons of payload or 10 passengers over a maximum range of 4,000 km.
Its cruising speed is 550 km/h at an altitude of 7,620 meters (25,000 feet).

The aircraft is similar to the Leonardo AW609, a manned tilt-rotor aircraft that has been in development for several decades, but is larger and heavier.
United Aircraft, however, followed a concept similar to Bell and the V-280 military aircraft in that only the propeller assembly pivots.
The Chinese company, however, did not reveal what its plans are for entry into service or when it expects to obtain type certification.
The Layning R6000 will be unveiled at the Zhuhai Airshow, which will take place between November 12 and 17. It is expected that many questions about the aircraft will be answered then.
