Embraer and CAE held the inauguration ceremony of the first flight simulator for the E2 family of commercial jets installed in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new training equipment is located at the CAE Flight Training Center in Singapore, close to Changi Airport, and will support E2 operators in the region.

It is a state-of-the-art simulator from the CAE 7000XR series and will initially be used by pilots at Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, who are preparing for the start of operations with the E190-E2 this year.
