As with commercial aircraft, Embraer also failed to reach its corporate jet delivery guidance in 2023, which was in the range of 120 to 130 units.
In the end, the company managed to send 115 corporate jets to its customers, an increase of 13% compared to 2022.
Despite this, it was the best performance in the last seven years and the only reason it wasn’t better than 2016 was because at that time the company’s portfolio included the first generation Legacy and the Lineage 1000, an VIP variant of the E190.
Backlog expands
As expected, the Phenom 300 continues to be its most popular business aircraft with 63 deliveries, four more than in 2022.
The smaller Phenom 100 also recovered, with 11 deliveries, the best result after the coronavirus pandemic.
In the midsize jet segment, Embraer delivered 21 Praetor 600 and 20 Praetor 500, the latter’s best mark since its launch in 2019.
