Embraer managed to overcome supply chain issues and achieved its 2024 commercial aircraft delivery target.

With 31 aircraft delivered in Q4, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer reached the end of the year with 73 jets delivered to its customers, therefore at the top of the revised target (70-73 aircraft).

The result was also within the original estimate released at the beginning of last year, which predicted 72 to 80 deliveries.

The E2 family, as in 2023, led deliveries, with 47 aircraft (64% of the total). The E195-E2 model had 39 deliveries while the E190-E2 reached eight jets delivered.

Embraer’s workhorse, the E175, has delivered 26 aircraft, 24 of which to customers in the United States, its largest market.

Despite the good results, the company faced difficulties at the beginning of the year due to a lack of components, especially Pratt & Whitney GTF engines.

In February, for example, no commercial aircraft were delivered, while in July only three E195-E2s were sent to customers.

The situation stabilized from August onwards, with deliveries ranging from six to eight aircraft, peaking at 19 jets in December.

The last week of 2024 was very busy at Embraer’s headquarters in Brazil, with at least nine aircraft taking off for its customers.

Envoy, which provides services to American Airlines, led E175 deliveries with 10 aircraft, followed by Republic (United Express). One jet was also delivered to the African company Overland and another to the Indian company Reliance Industries for VIP use.

Of the eight E190-E2s delivered, five went to Scoot, a low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. The rest were delivered to Royal Jordanian.

Canada’s Porter Airlines once again led the way in receiving E195-E2s, with 14 aircraft, closely followed by Brazil’s Azul, which planned to receive 13 jets in 2024 but added 11 by December.

Embraer will release detailed results for the fourth quarter on February 28.
