Embraer released a video on December 15 in which it celebrates the 60th anniversary of Royal Jordanian Airlines, the Middle Eastern country’s flag carrier.
The recording also served as the company’s reveal of the carrier’s first E195-E2, which will soon be delivered as part of a deal for eight aircraft, including the E190-E2 model.
An Embraer customer for several years, Royal Jordanian announced an agreement with lessor Azorra to receive six E2 aircraft, four E190-E2 and two E195-E2, in addition to two E195-E2 purchased directly from the manufacturer.
The E195-E2 seen in the images, serial number 19020116, first flew on December 7 and is expected to be delivered to Royal Jordanian in December.

Royal Jordanian’s E195-E2 will have just 120 seats, with 12 seats in business class and 108 in economy. The E190-E2 will be configured with 92 seats – 12 in business and 80 in economy.
Currently, the airline operates two E175s and two E195s of the first generation.
