Embraer is expanding its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities for commercial aircraft in the United States, where the manufacturer’s largest fleet of E-Jets is located.
To this end, the company announced a new support center at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport in Texas, which will have two hangars, the first of which will be available starting in the first quarter of 2025 and the second in 2027.
The company already has several units in the country, both for E-Jets and for its large fleet of business jets. Worldwide, Embraer maintains 12 of its own facilities and 80 authorized centers.

Also according to the company, the city of Fort Worth, a traditional hub for the aerospace industry, was selected after offering tax incentives.
“This expansion will significantly increase the capacity, capability, and footprint of our services network by providing world-class support to our customers and the growing fleet of E-Jets in North America. Also, it is part of Embraer’s growth strategy in the US”, said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support.
Regional airlines in the United States are the largest customers of the E175, a regional jet for up to 76 passengers, which is the basis of the American, United, Delta and Alaska Air network.
