Embraer is preparing a major “expedition” to the United Kingdom in July, when the Farnborough Airshow and the Royal International Air Tatoo (RIAT 2022) will take place on consecutive days.
To be present at the events, the Brazilian manufacturer will take the E190-E2 and E195-E2 passenger jets to England, which will be shown in Farnborough, and the military KC-390 and A-29, scheduled for Royal International Air Tatoo, at Fairford Air Force Base.
The military freighter is also listed as one of the aircraft to participate in the Farnborough Airshow, starting on the 18th, but it is likely that the Super Tucano will also be at the Embraer stand.
Cabin mockup
In addition to the two largest planes in the E2 family, Embraer said it will bring to Farnborough a mockup of the cabin of the Eve-100, its first eVTOL, which is being developed by Eve.
The concepts of ecological planes from the so-called “Fly The Future” experience will also be exposed. Unveiled earlier this year, the “Energia” family projects include planes with electric, hybrid and hydrogen propulsion.
At the RIAT 2022, Embraer will be present between the 15th and 17th, with the KC-390 and A-29 Super Tucano on static display. Both air shows, will resume after two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
