Embraer announced a deal valued at US$7 billion with the shared aircraft company FlexJet for a firm order of 182 Praetor 600, Praetor 500 and Phenom 300E business jets.
The contract also includes 30 purchase options and a service and support package. Deliveries will occur over the next five years and will almost double the fleet of the Ohio, US-based company.
According to Embraer, this is Flexjet’s largest order since its founding in 1995 and also the largest executive aircraft deal for the Brazilian manufacturer.

“Now in our 30th year at Flexjet, it seems fitting to extend our rewarding and long-term relationship with Embraer with this historic firm order. Since 2003, we have accepted delivery of more than 150 Embraer aircraft,” said Michael Silvestro, CEO of Flexjet.
Flexjet, through Flight Options, became the first fractional customer to introduce the Legacy jet in 2003. Later additions included the Phenom 300 (2010), Legacy 450 (2016) and Praetor 50 and 600 (2019).
The company currently operates a fleet that includes the Praetor 600, Praetor 500 and Phenom 300 series in Flexjet’s global fleet.
Embraer did not disclose when deliveries will begin.
