Emirates Airline has had to postpone the debut of the Airbus A350-900 widebody on its route network once again.
According to information from Aero Routes, the twin-aisle jet will now fly between Dubai and Edinburgh, Scotland, from December 2nd instead of November 4th.
The Dubai-Bahrain route, in turn, has been changed from November 15th to January 1st 2025, with the same change for the flight to Kuwait City.

The UAE carrier’s plans were to have ten A350s by the end of March 2025, but Airbus was unable to meet the schedule that called for the first aircraft to enter service in August.
In May, Emirates had announced that the 309-seat widebody would debut on a flight to Kuwait on September 15, followed by Mumbai and Ahmedabad in October.
But at the end of June, the airline changed its plans in light of the problems the planemaker is facing with its suppliers.
As a result, the debut flight was now to the Scottish capital, which remains the A350’s first destination.
Emirates currently relies on just two types of aircraft in its fleet, the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A380.
The entry into service of the A350 and, in the future, the Boeing 787 will expand the options and offer a superior flight experience to passengers.
