Embraer usually releases its quarterly delivery figures by adding together the products from the commercial, military and executive aviation divisions.
However, this focus masks some results, as was the case with the E1 and E2 jets, which showed a slight increase in the first nine months of 2024.
By highlighting that its deliveries grew 33% in the 3rd quarter, compared to the same period in 2023, the planemaker relied on the excellent performance of executive aviation.

If it depended only on commercial and military aircraft, Embraer would have delivered only two more units than last year.
The number of business jets delivered jumped from 28 to 41 aircraft, mainly due to the 19 deliveries of Praetor models (almost 100% growth).
In the year, Embraer delivered 128 aircraft, two-thirds of which were executive jets, which increased its share of the pie.
But in terms of numbers, the business models are relevant; in terms of revenue, the division is less prominent, with less than 20% of revenues and which fell 4% in the quarter.
On track for a record?
In 2023, Embraer delivered 115 executive jets, the highest number since 2017. In the 4th quarter of 2024 alone, 49 aircraft were delivered to its customers.
If it repeats its performance at the end of the year, the Brazilian company could deliver around 135 aircraft, which would make 2024 the second best in its history, only behind 2010, when it delivered 145 jets.
But if the pace remains high, even a record can be expected, since to achieve this it only needs to deliver 60 aircraft between October and December.
Some of its models are on track to break their own records, such as the Praetor 600, with 18 aircraft delivered, just three short of its best-selling aircraft.
The Phenom 300, its best-selling aircraft, has had 46 aircraft delivered and could surpass the 63-unit mark in 2023.
It remains to be seen whether the Phenom 100, which recently gained a new variant, the EV, will be able to return to its good times.
Embraer’s entry-level business jet, the Phenom 100, had only seven aircraft delivered as of September, a tiny fraction of the approximately 100 jets delivered in 2009 and 2010.
